My journey as an artist began when I was in school. I was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts about 35 miles south of Boston. While in high school, I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a student in the Advanced Placement art program. During my senior year, I was a Gold Key recipient for the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards, for one of my photographs. I then studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. Upon graduation, I moved to Chicago to begin my career in photography.
